Welcome to Mrs. Burton's Busy Bees third grade page!
I am very excited for this year and am looking forward to a lot of fun and learning! Please refer to this site for important information about our class and for resources that can be used at home to enhance what is being taught in the classroom. =)
The students were given an agenda to write down their homework in each night. Please look for the small, spiral bound notebooks to come home starting Thursday, Aug. 19. Each student is responsible for recording their homework at the end of the school day so parents can see what was assigned. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Our class will be visiting the library every Friday, starting the second week of school. Please have your child bring in his/her library card as soon as possible so he/she does not miss out on checking out a book!
Our class is building an Arts and Crafts basket for the Spaghetti Dinner in September and I would really appreciate any donations that can be added to the basket by the week of September 13th. Please send the item with your student - thank you!
